"The One who has called you is faithful"

"The One who has called you is Faithful and He Will do it" 1 Thess 5:24

That's the verse in my mind today. Our weekend ended with a bang, which included our upstairs air going out, new tires and brakes for the car, and a nice chunk of change due to the IRS. All while we prepare to pay another large amount to Bethany, our adoption agency in the next month. I gotta say I am fighting feelings of stress, anxiety and just plain being overwhelmed. However, we will press on toward the goal and not allow Satan to use these circumstances to discourage us or question the Lord's timing. The One who called us IS Faithful and I'm sure in a few weeks we'll have a wonderful testimony of just how perfectly He provided. He ALWAYS does.

In other news we are having a neighborhood Garage Sale this Saturday. Our family has been super gracious to donate to us their treasures they no longer want/need. Let me tell you there is some really nice stuff too. We are super duper thankful! All the profits from the Garage Sale will go straight into our adoption fund. We'll let you know how that turns out!
