Florida!

Just got back from a family vacation in Florida. We spent 9 days away and slept in 5 different beds. Usually the kids and I will fly down to my parents house, but it's always nice when Josh gets to come because we drive. Although I'm not a big fan of the 13 hour car ride, I  love that we get to make several stops along the way to visit family and friends. We started the trip by spending 2 nights in Orlando visiting with friends.

Above are a bunch of Carson and Chloe's friends. I've known some of their parents for 13 years now. We have so many memories together and I'm thankful that we have kept in touch over all these years.

After leaving Orlando we stopped in Vero to visit more family. We always try to make our stops in Vero on Sunday so we can go to Church where Josh's Uncle Frank is the Pastor. It was a GREAT time of worship . If you live in Vero, First Baptist Kings would be a GREAT Church home. We stayed with Memaw which always makes for a great time. We love to have her tell the kids stories about what life was like for her when she was a little girl. She has such great stories and the kids love to listen and asks lots of funny questions. Josh's Grandfather is in a nursing home and we always make time to go and visit with him. He was having a great day and was probably doing better that day then all the other times we've visited with him.

After Vero we spent several days down with my parents and Brother and Sister In Law. Our time there mostly consisted of visiting with more family, the beach, pool, boat, Peanut Island, and eating.

 The kids played together non stop. Chloe and my niece Addison were attached at the hip. Chloe wants to do anything and everything Addison does. She insisted on wearing Addison's clothes and even her underwear. It's a good thing I packed her a huge suitcase full of clothes :). I know they will always be the best of friends.

 Carson and Logan love to fish, ride bikes, and swim together. Really for them any moment spent outside is a good one.

 Josh and I got to spend a few hours out on a little date. We walked around Atlantic Avenue and enjoyed one of my favorite smoothies from a little sandwich shop I always used to go to in High school after a day at the beach.

It was a fun time and we're still going non stop. We got home about 10:00 Sunday night and started VBS early Monday morning.We're not gonna know what to do with ourselves next week :)
